Group NIRE was formed in 2010 by Texas Tech University to provide industry, government and academia with a field demonstration site to solve the challenges of integrating renewable energy sources and emerging energy-efficiency technologies with the electric grid. While working with The Owen Group, it was our job to help enhance and build Group NIRE’s relationship with the public, including the media. One of the biggest issues the organization was having was conveying what exactly Group NIRE does to the world. The first step in this process was to develop a new website that would be easy to navigate, fully-responsive and aesthetically pleasing.
